*Blood Donation to express Gratitute to Soldiers*

1. On 15th August 2021, Flag hosting was done at Bangaluru in the presence of members of National Corruption Control and Human Welfare Organization by  Dr Vasanth Pooovaih. A number of organizations joined for the event.

2. The Independence Day was celebrated in a unique manner, by remembering our soldiers ,who have kept guarding our Borders, day and night. At 9am to 3 pm a special "Blood Donation Camp" was held , in collaboration with Medical Staff  from Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital and Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute.The aim of the Camp was to create awareness amongst the public about the sacrifices made by our Soldiers ,while serving the motherland 

3. Due to the COVID pandemic, hardly any Blood donation camps at big scale were organized in the last two years. However, this Camp got a overwhelming response, wherein 300 blood donors were present .   24 units of blood were collected,  highest so far during  COVID pandemic situation. The blood donation norms and safety norms  were strictly followed, to cater for safe conduct of the camp , as per the advice of the medical authorities.                                      

4. In another programme at Virajpet, Taluk President Kalimada Deepa Kishan felicitated the Staff of Govt Hospital Virajpet. This 50 bedded hospital functioned as COVID Centre , providing excellent service and Medical help to the patients. The role of the Staff was appreciated by the public. As a token of  appreciation , NCCHWO Certificates were presented to Dr Viswanath Simpi, Indu Lakha ,Nisada ,Anand , Subramani PG and Yadv Kumar.  

5.  At Palestra, in conjunction with YMCA and  Rotary Club, gifts were distributed to the citizens for contributions to the  society . CORONA Warriors/ police personal/ students/were gifted Sanitizer Kits /Books /  ration . Dr Parveen Ranka distributed certificates to winners of State e- Kata Championship.He also participated in Marathon organized by Jain Yuva Nari Shakti as Guest and Judge.                              

6. National Chief Secretary Mr Ranjit Verma said that NCCHWO is committed to felicitate all those citizens who have worked beyond the call of duty during the CORONA Pandemic.National Chief Secretary called upon members of NCCHWO to help the administration in Welfare related programmes, meant to serve the poor and needy. In future more people connected with the Welfare related Programmes and Pandemic related duties will be identified and honoured by NCCHWO.
