1. NCCHWO has been giving lot on emphasis on undertaking realistic Welfare oriented projects which address grassroot level issues being faced by ordinary people. To propagate the requirement of a strong and Healthy India, members of NCCHWO had participated in Marathon Race held at Patnitop, Jammu ,on 18 September 2021.
2. Our labour class is too busy with the struggle for earning, to make the both ends meet.Regular health checkup takes a very low priority for daily wagers. Routine Health checkup and Blood test may diagnose certain health problems in time ,before it is too late. Members of NCCHWO joined hands with Thyrocare Diagnostic Laboratory , Gandhinagar, Jammu, to check Blood Sugar of Daily Wagers. A special stall was set up in early hours at Labour Chowk, with Blood testing Kit, Technical and Medical Staff. 100 blood tests were carried out and based in results, Medical advice was rendered, on the spot.The members of NCCHWO also distributed 100 Face Masks and refreshments. The response was overwhelming. 3. Mrs Pooja Malhotra coordinated the event. Mrs Meena Jaggi , Rohini Aima and Mrs Gurvinder Kour contributed in the efforts to make the programme a sucess. Brig Harcharan Singh appreciated the efforts put in by the ladies in various fields of Welfare Activities.
