**. 1. India has given many firsts to this world, including YOG , which is a way to Life ,ie, living with a healthy mind and body. To celebrate the International Yoga Day, initiative was taken by NCCHWO in all the States to encourage Yog and physical fitness amongst the members of the society. 2. In J&K, an initiative was taken by Mrs Pooja Malhotra,President National Women Empowerment Cell, to conduct a Yog Session, under expert guidence of SIBA events & Entertainment Group and Inner Wheel Club ,JammuTawi. During this one hour session, services of a professionally trained Instructor were taken to teach correct Yog/ Pranayam techniques and conduct of a Zumba Session. Emphasis was to learn correct techniques so that the resistance of the body is improved and Oxygen carrying capacity is enhanced. The Pranayam can improve the immunity system of the body , so very importent during this crucial period of COVID pandemic , which requires a high degree of natural immunity, possible through Yog/Pranayam. 3. After the session, the Yog Instructor, Mr Sukhwinder Jaral was honoured by Mrs Pooja Malhotra along with founders of SIBA events Mr Siddharath and Baljeet. Refreshments were served by NCCHWO ,also aided by Ramnik Kour ,Jasmeet Kour Masakali and Prabhmehar from the Home of Fashion. 4. The message by Yogacharya is to essentially practice Yog in a daily basis ,to live a healthy life. At the end of the programme all present took a vow to practice Yog on a daily basis and also to spread this knowledge in the society. *Healthy* *India* , *will* *be* *a* *Strong* *India* .
