As per the ethos of NCCHWO, our members carry out welfare activities and take cooperation of all the like minded people/Organizations. With this spirit,
Dr. Vasanth Poovaiah (President NCCHWO Karnataka ) coordinated with the local MLA and put up a purposal for provision of ration and meals for the poor and underprivileged daily wagers,
who were hit hard due to Lock down restrictions and could not earn their livelihood. Around 3000 people have already benefitted from the programme run over the last two days in a joint programme.
On the concluding third day of this programme, Mr.Byrati Basvaraj(Anna) ,Minister Of State For Urban Development For Karnataka & Davangere District Minister , arrived this morning in village Hiramavu at 9:00am .Then Mr. Byrati Basavaraj ,Dr.Vasanth poovaiah along with few members offered prayers at Eshwara Temple to thank the Almighty who gave strength to the team of NCCHWO to serve the needy.
After that , along with Byrati Basavaraj , Vasanth poovaiah along with the team members of NCC&HWO , carried out the third phase of the programme. Free distribution of breakfast was followed by distribution of packed dry ration and ration kit was done for around 1500 poor and needy people from 9:30 am onwards, near Horamavu Agara Milk Booth.A very fine example has been set for the society wher , NCCHWO has motivated other Organizations also to work jointly for a noble cause to help the needy.
