1. Sanskrit language classifies Guru as the superior master who is able to impart wisdom to pupil.Saint Kabir preached that the Guru is above the God as teachings of Guru leads one to achieve the truth and God. To mark the birth anniversary of Dr Radhakrishnan , the day has been specially dedicated to teachers, the guides and torch bearers of Knowledge.
2 NCCHWO, J&K celebrated the Teachers Day along with RC Jammu Elite. On the eve of this special day , club decided to felicitate and honour five teachers and achievers. As a token of respect ,medicinal plants were presented, as plants signifies the growth of a student into a responsible citizen , enshrined with strong roots of faith, values and patriotism, through the teaching imparted by Teachers.
Dr. Rachna Sharma TGT& NCC Officer Of Army Public School and Mrs Jyoti jamwal, Teacher of Govt. Middle school Brij Nagar( a Veer Nari ) were honoured. Three other educationists were also honoured ,to include Professor Manisha kaushik, Principal Archana Sharma from Astro Kids School and Principal Rohini Aima from Sanskriti School .
3. Eye Donation week was celebrated with members pledging to donate their eyes for the needy. Mrs Meena Jaggi
conducted the event . The event was coordinated by Ms Pooja Malhotra, National President, Women Empowerment.
